‘Liwayway’ remains less likely to make landfall in the country but it may develop into a tropical storm within 24 hours.
TD Liwayway is the 12th tropical cyclone that enters PAR this year.
Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon or Hanging Habagat is affecting the western section of Luzon particularly Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan where cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms also prevail.
In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers throughout the day.
