
The Senate commended Filipino teachers on Tuesday (October 1) for their commitment in shaping future leaders of the country.
Senate Resolution No. 142 was adopted in honor of the Filipino teachers in celebration of World Teacher’s Day on October 5.
“The Senate of the Philippines salutes the teachers and educators of the Philippines and of the world for their unwavering commitment and dedication to his noble profession,” the resolution reads.
Senator Joel Villanueva said the Senate will continue to uphold the welfare of the teachers of the country.
“Let us continue to invest in our teachers who mold the future generations of our people. Happy teachers’ month and more power to our teachers,” he said.—AAC
