MANILA, Philippines – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Thursday (January 23) that a section of Aurora Boulevard in Cubao, Quezon City will be closed for seven nights beginning January 25 to February 1 from 12:01 am to 5:00 am.
In an advisory, the MMDA said the closure will cover the westbound lane (going to Manila) of Aurora Boulevard from Oxford to Imperial Streets.
This is to give way for the replacement of 11 units of escalators of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 2 Cubao Station.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes on the duration of the replacement works.
Westbound motorists may turn right from Aurora Boulevard-Cubao road to Yale street or Oxford street.
From there, motorists may turn right to Columbia Street, then turn left to Imperial or West Point Streets to exit to Aurora Boulevard going to Manila.
