MANILA, Philippines — The management of Light Rail Transit 2 (LRT-2) is informing the public that starting July 27, train operating hours will be shortened by 30 minutes to give way to the installation of new power cables between Pureza and Legarda Stations.
This maintenance work is to supplement more power requirements to the rail transit’s existing Recto-Cubao operation, the LRT-2 management said.
Starting July 27, the LRT-2 trains’ first trip will be dispatched at 5:00 AM and will have the last trip at 7:30 PM.
This schedule is effective only until August 3.
