
MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and the Quezon City government signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the in-city Bus Augmentation Program.
The Bus Augmentation Program aims to provide additional public transport services within Quezon City which would serve commuters especially its residents.
The MOA covers eight routes for public utility buses (PUBs) which will undergo thorough evaluation with the LTFRB.
The eight proposed routes are as follows:
- Quezon City Hall to Cubao P. Tuazon cor. Gen. Romulo Ave. (and Vice Versa)
- Quezon City Hall to Litex (and Vice Versa)
- Welcome Rotonda to Aurora Katipunan (and Vice Versa)
- Quezon City Hall to General Luis via SB Road (and Vice Versa)
- Quezon City Hall to Mindanao Ave. (Quirino Highway) (and Vice Versa)
- Quezon City Hall to LRT 2 Gilmore (and Vice Versa)
- Quezon City Hall to E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave cor. Ortigas Ave. (and Vice Versa)
- Quezon City Hall to LRT 1 Roosevelt to Quezon City
These PUB routes are expected to be formally operational in December 2020.
