MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has launched a manhunt operation against the nine individuals allegedly involved in the rape-slay case of flight attendant Christine Dacera.
PNP Spokesperson PBGen. Ildebrandi Usana said they already have a lead on where the nine individuals can be found. He also assured that these individuals should have nothing to be afraid of if they are innocent of the crime.
“They will just have to be subjected to manhunt po kung hindi po sila mag-submit personally sa mga kapulisan natin (if they will not submit themselves to the authorities),“ Usana said in a phone interview.
The police authorities identified the 9 other suspects as the following:
- Gregorio Angelo de Guzman
- Louie de Lima
- Clark Jezreel Rapinan
- Rey Englis
- Mark Anthony Rosales
- Jammyr Cunanan
- Valentine Rosales
- Ed Madrid
- A certain Paul
Meanwhile, three suspects were already captured by authorities. They were identified as John Pascual dela Serna III, 27; Rommel Daluro Galido, 29; and John Paul Reyes Halili, 25. The three have been charged with rape with homicide on Monday (January 4), according to the PNP.
Based on the police’s initial investigation, Dacera checked-in at the City Garden Hotel in Makati City for a New Year’s Eve party. Her body was found on January 1 in a bathtub and was pronounced dead after she was rushed to the hospital. –AAC (with reports from Lea Ylagan)
