MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) will conduct grounding works for stray current monitoring system along the line’s columns starting this week, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
In an advisory, the MMDA said the grounding works, which will be undertaken by a private contractor, will start on Tuesday, April 5 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The undergrounding works will be conducted along EDSA from Taft Avenue Station to Quezon Avenue Station.
The MMDA, however, assured that no roadways will be affected by the grounding works.
The agency said the activity will last for 32 days or until May 6.
