MANILA, Philippines — The satisfaction rating of the Aquino administration dropped by ten percent according to the 2015 first quarter survey of the Social Weather Stations.
From the previous rating of 58 percent for the last quarter of 2014, only 48 percent expressed contentment to the performance of the administration.
Meanwhile, those who are not contented increased to 29 percent from the previous rating of 24 percent.
From ‘good rating’ or positive 34 last December 2014, the net rating of the administration dropped to positive 19 or ‘moderate’.
Of the 20 issues, resolution of Maguindanao massacre received the lowest recorded score with a rating of ‘very bad’.
Meanwhile, poor rating was recorded for issues concerning assurance of no family starvation and assurance that oil firms will not abuse oil pricing.
In a press statement, Presidential Communication Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. stated that the administration is determined to complete the implementation of programs under the Philippine Development Plan and to ensure sustainability of reforms and good governance.
According to the secretary, the ratings of the administration may still improve and that they will continue to listen to the voice of the Filipinos. (NEL MARIBOJOC / UNTV News)
