Repair sa barko ng Pilipinas na nasa Ayungin Shoal, tinutulan ng China

MANILA, Philippines — Tinutulan ng China ang minor repair na ginagawa ng Philippine Havy sa BRP Sierra Madre na nakahimpil sa Ayungin Shoal.

Sa pahayag ni China Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying, hindi tumutupad ang Pilipinas sa commitment nitong alisin ang barko sa Ren’ai Jiao o kilala sa bansa bilang Ayungin Shoal.

Ayon pa rito, pinalalala lang ng Pilipinas ang tensyon sa lugar dahil sa mga aksyon nito at tinawag ang Pilipinas na “trouble-maker” at “rule-breaker”.

Sinabi naman ni AFP Public Affairs Office Chief na si Lt. Col. Noel Detoyato, obligasyon ng Philippine Navy na siguraduhing ligtas ang mga tauhan ng militar kaya nire-repair nito ang BRP Sierra Madre na 1999 pang nasa Ayungin Shoal. (ROSALIE COZ / UNTV News)
