MANILA, Philippines — DILG Sec. Mar Roxas is not losing hope in convincing Sen. Grace Poe to be his running mate in 2016.
Sec. Roxas said Grace Poe has the criteria to continue the straight path or daang matuwid initiated by President Aquino, based on her performance as a senator.
However, he said they are not in a hurry and they are giving Sen. Poe enough time to think.
Nevertheless, if the talks with Sen. Poe fail, they are ready to replace her.
Roxas assured that in the proper time they will endorse those personalities that may continue what President Aquino has started.
“We will make sure that our team will be strong and complete to strengthen the straight path,” Roxas said.
