MANILA, Philippines — May pag-asa pa ang proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law na maipasa sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Aquino.

Ito ang ipinahayag ni Senate President Franklin Drilon.

Ayon kay Drilon, itutuloy ang pagtalakay sa panukalang batas sa pagbabalilk ng sesyon sa January 18 ng susunod na taon.

Sinabi ng senate president na ang kailangan lamang ay magkasundo ang dalawang kapulungan tulad ng sa pagpasa sa national budget.

“View has been expressed that this is a bill of local application and therefore should be passed and enacted first by the house,” ani Sen. Drilon.

Nang tanungin si Drilon ukol sa kung may pag-asa pa ba ang BBL sagot niya, “No, it’s not yet dead.” (BRYAN DE PAZ / UNTV News)
