MANILA, Philippines — Results of the survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations in the 4th quarter of 2015 show that 45% of the respondents expect to have better lives, 5% believe that their lives won’t get any better in the next 12 months.
A positive 40 net optimism rate was recorded for this quarter, a new record-high compared with the previous administration.
Meanwhile, the percentage of Filipinos who believe that the country will have an improved economy during the next 12 months has also increased.
The net optimism rate has increased by 12 points which garnered a positive 30 or very high from the previous positive 18 in September 2015.
Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Sonny Coloma says, this serves as an inspiration for President Aquino as well as the cabinet members to continue with its programs and reforms.
