During the halftime, individual awards were given.
Antonio Lustestica Jr. of NHA Builders was given the Most Valuable Player award (Season MVP); was included in the UNTV Cup First Five; and was chosen as the scoring champion.
Joining Lustestica in the 1st 5 were Bautista, Omiping, Jeffrey Sanders of MMDA Blackwolves and best in rebounds, Don Camaso.
Waldemar Tibay of NHA grabbed the best in assists citation while team mate Marvin Mercado was the King of Blocks.
Jonathan Egea of BFP Firefighters took home the most number of steals.Cash prizes for the beneficiaries of the 8 non-winning teams were also handed out last night.
A hundred thousand pesos each was given to the chosen charities of Ombudsman Graftbusters, DOJ Justice Boosters, HOR Solons (Municipality of Barotac Viejo Educational Assistance), GSIS Furies (Golden Reception and Action Center for Elderly and other Special Cases), Senate Defenders (Kythe Foundation Inc., Pangarap Foundation Inc.), Malacañang Patriots (Philippine Children’s Medical Center), Judiciary Magis (Court Employees Severely Affected by Calamities) and BFP Firefighters (Philippine Science HS).
The 500,000 pesos cash prize of 4th placer NHA was also handed out of which 400,000 to be given to NHA Provident Fund Association Inc. and 100,000 for the team.
For being the 3rd placer, MMDA will donate 800,000 pesos to Philippine General Hospital-Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit, Philippine Cerebral Palsy Inc. and Damayan Fund through MMDA Provident Fund. P200,000 was handed out for the team.
Finals MVP will be announced on the Game 3 of UNTV Cup Season 4 Finals.
