QUEZON CITY, Philippines — Persisting issues hampering the construction of LRT-MRT common station remain unsettled up till the dawning of a new administration.
According to LRTA Administrator Honorito Chaneco, the project is being handled by seven groups that have differing opinions as to the proper location for the common station.
In its first contract which the Quezon City Regional Trial Court issued a TRO on, SM Prime Holdings intended to build the common station in front of SM Annex.
But Ayala Corporation appealed and reasoned that it would be more appropriate to build it near Trinoma.
Chaneco said, there are many factors to consider such as technical aspects that all parties should agree on.
