MANILA, Philippines — Commissioner Christian Robert Lim is submitting his resignation as chief of the COMELEC Campaign Finance Office.
Lim said he cannot accept the changes in the policy of the poll body.
Lim is among those who voted against the extension of filing Statements of Contributions and Expenditures or SOCE.
But after the en banc session, the result was 4-3 in favor of extending the deadline for submission.
Prior to that, Lim has been absent in three consecutive en banc sessions.
Lim only sent a letter to COMELEC en banc bearing his vote opposing the extension of the SOCE filing.
