MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Ombudsman said it is not intimated by the plan of President Rodrigo Duterte to form a commission that will investigate the alleged anomalies and corruption in the agency.
In a statement released on Friday, the ombudsman said they will continue the investigation into the cases they are handling, particularly the case on the bank records of the president.
The ombudsman also emphasized that the president should not be intimidated if he is not hiding anything.
Meanwhile, the agency said it is open to any investigation the president wants to conduct. — UNTV News & Rescue
