Manila, Philippines – The Supreme Court was asked to act on the disbarment complaint filed against Atty. Larry Gadon, the principal complainant in the impeachment of Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
In a letter to the high court, lawyers Musa Malayang and Algamar Latiph said they have not even received Gadon’s comment to their complaint filed in April last year.
The complaint stemmed from Gadon’s alleged statement when he was running for the Senate that he would have all the Muslims killed to end the rebellion in Mindanao.
Atty. Gadon said he is not aware of disbarment complaint against him.
He said he is now a friend to the Muslims and in fact, he got more votes than the Muslim candidates in Mindanao in the past election. – UNTV News & Rescue
