The United Filipino Consumers and Commuters (UFCC) has expressed concern over possible effects of the frequent conduct of transport strikes in the country.
According to UFCC president Rodolfo Javellana, the government and representatives of the transport sector should talk to discuss solutions regarding the concerns of jeepney operators and drivers over the planned PUJ modernization program.
“For our commuters, they don’t want to become victims of these strikes. The government should not be too strict on this matter, as well as the protesting transportation sector,” Javellana said. – UNTV News & Rescue
