Multicab truck after falling into an 8-meter deep ravine.
One person is dead and three others injured after the multicab they were boarding fell into a ravine at Sitio Camangahan in Barangay Piut, Caranglan, Nueva Ecija on Thursday.
The lone fatality in the incident was identified as Cadlom Paay while the three wounded who were rushed to Bayombong Nueva Vizcaya Hospital were identified as Lamberto Villa Urbano, Timmy Ligligan and Atumpag Paay; all are residents of Barangay Capintalan.
According to Caranglan PNP, the multicab was traversing Maharlika Highway when another vehicle was suddenly driving straight at them.
The multicab driver tried to avoid the oncoming vehicle but lost control of the steering wheel and ended up crashing into an 8-meter deep ravine.
Authorities have conducted a follow-up operation for the arrest of the driver who tried to overtake the doomed vehicle. — UNTV News & Rescue
