MANILA, Philippines — Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced on Monday that President Rodrigo Duterte is likely to sign the executive order (EO) on contractualization before Labor Day or May 1 as this remains a priority of the Duterte administration.
“The president wants it as soon as possible. We all know that Labor Day is May 1 so I would think that it will come out on or before May 1,” Roque said.
However, Malacañang couldn’t confirm whether or not the President met with the labor groups today which was also reportedly canceled. — UNTV News & Rescue
