Australian missionary, Sister Patricia Fox
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has cancelled the missionary visa of Australian Nun Patricia Fox and ordered her to leave the Philippines in 30 days.
The Immigration’s Board of Commissioners forfeited Fox’s visa on Monday due to her participation in partisan political activities, as explained by BI Commissioner Jaime Morente on Wednesday.
He added that the Aussie nun’s engagement in local partisan politics is “not allowed under the terms and conditions of her visa.”
Nevertheless, the BI said Fox could still return to the Philippines only as a tourist. – UNTV News and Rescue
