MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang denied Senator Bam Aquino’s claim that the proposed abolition of The Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG) could be part of a wider scheme to revise history.
“There is no revisionism because all PCGG’s functions will be assumed by the Office of the Solicitor General,” said President Spokesman, Secretary Harry Roque.
The PCGG was established three decades ago and is tasked to recover the alleged USD$10 billion dollar-worth of ill-gotten wealth of the Marcoses. – Rosalie Coz |
