Philippine passport holders may now travel to up to 66 countries around the globe without the need of any visa.

This number has increased since last year after five more countries have given visa-free access to the Philippines.

Based on the 2018 Henley passport index, the Philippines ranked seventh in Southeast Asia among countries with the most number of visa-free access to other countries while global ranking puts the Philippines on the 70th spot.

Meanwhile, 2018 global ranking sets Japan as the country with the highest number of visa-free access which totals to 189 countries while Germany and Singapore ranked second with visa-free access to 188 countries.

Afghanistan and Iraq are at the least on the global ranking with visa-free access to only 30 countries. – Asher Cadapan Jr.
