PAMPANGA, Philippines – The remains of Jastine Valdez, the Filipina student abducted and killed in Wicklow, Ireland arrived Wednesday night, May 30, at Clark International Airport.
Her remains were brought right away to her hometown in Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.
The Honorary Consul of the Philippines for Ireland, Mark Congdon, assured that investigation is underway to find out the connection of the killer to Valdez and the motive of the crime.
“The culprit has been found and unfortunately he was found by the police and shot dead at that time and the investigation is ongoing,” assured Congdon.
Consul Congdon said the murder of Valdez was the first incident of such gravity against a Filipino in Ireland. – UNTV News & Rescue
