MMDA personnel enforcing light truck ban along EDSA
QUEZON CITY, Philippines – A total of 1,444 traffic constables will be deployed in various parts of Metro Manila coinciding with the opening of classes on Monday.
According to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Jojo Garcia, they will primarily focus on manning traffic situations in major thoroughfares near schools such as the University Belt in Manila; Katipunan Road; EDSA Cubao- Aurora and Balintawak Clover Leaf.
The agency will also conduct clearing operations along sidewalks near schools to ensure easy flow of vehicles and pedestrians. – UNTV News & Rescue
