Australian missionary Sister Patricia Fox
MANILA, Philippines — Australian missionary Patricia Fox insists that she did not violate the terms and conditions of her missionary visa.
In her 22-page reply submitted to the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Tuesday, June 5, Fox denied the Bureau of Immigration’s allegation that she engaged in partisan political activities that prompted the cancellation and downgrading of her visa to a temporary visitor’s visa with a validity of 30 days only.
Fox earlier asked the DOJ to review and reverse the immigration bureau’s order, claiming that it is not in accordance with the Constitution and jurisprudence.
The Bureau of Immigration has yet to file its comment on the petition. — Mai Bermudez | UNTV News & Rescue
