President Rodrigo Duterte has warned anew urban poor group, Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (Kadamay) against occupying government housing projects intended for policemen and soldiers in San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal.
He gave the group until 12 noon on Friday, June 15 to vacate the housing units or face violent dispersal by the police.
Mamatayan, lima, anim, pito, wala akong pakialam” he said.
(I told the police “Get them back.” If they want a fight, I’ll tell the police to give them one. If it gets violent, the police should protect themselves. If bloodshed is necessary in implementing the law, so be it. It might result in five, six, seven casualties, I don’t care.)
