QUEZON CITY, Philippines – Authorities nabbed two suspected suppliers of illegal marijuana in C. Victorino St. Villa Alfonso in Barangay Bambang, Pasig City Thursday night, June 21.
The suspects, identified as Julius Cesar Ilagan and Jayson Proda, were said to have been supplying marijuana to various parts of Metro Manila with customers who were mostly students.
Quezon City Police District Station 7 Commander PSupt Giovanni Caliao said the police recovered from the suspects nearly eight kilograms of dried marijuana valued at P300,000.
Earlier in Cubao, authorities nabbed two drug suspects, one of whom was a minor, for possessing P10,000 worth of marijuana. The suspects named Proda as their supplier.
The suspects will face charges for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. — Reynante Ponte / Marje Pelayo
