Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) announced on Tuesday that several areas in Metro Manila will experience service interruptions until further notice.
In a statement, Maynilad said that days of monsoon rain have caused an increased turbidity in the raw water from Ipo Dam, thereby forcing the company to reduce water production in La Mesa Dam treatment plants.
Affected areas include barangays in Manila, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Quezon City, Makati, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas and Muntinlupa.
Some residents in Bulacan and Cavite will also experience water disruption.
Schedule of water supply varies for every city, but majority will have no supply at night.
