BOC seizes over P15M-worth of illegal drugs at NAIA

PASAY CITY, Philippines – The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Thursday (October 4) turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) more than P15 million worth of illegal drugs.

The contraband included about two kilograms of shabu, 48 oil ampules, 12 plastic containers of marijuana, several boxes of Valium and Mogadon.

They arrived at the Central Mail Exchange Center and at the FedEx warehouse on two different dates.

The shipment originated from Thailand, the USA, Africa and Pakistan named under Melinda Dacallos of Caloocan City; Joseph Manialac of Angeles City; Logy Ramirez of Batao, Ilocos Norte; Edward Dela Rosa of Las Piñas City; and Rico Delicano of Cotabato City.

They will face charges for violation of the Customs Tariff and Modernization Act and the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. – UNTV News and Rescue
