President Rodrigo Duterte himself announced that he paid another visit to the hospital on Thursday (December 6) to have his blood tested.
He made the announcement during the 85th anniversary of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) yesterday at Pasay City.
“Ako rin galing sa ospital, kinunan ako ng dugo. Yang media, magtatanong naman ng sakit ko,” he said.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo declined to give further details regarding the reason for the test, but assured that it was just a regular blood test.
Last October, President Duterte revealed that he had to undergo several medical procedures which later yielded negative results for cancer.
However, he admitted that he is suffering from a condition called, Barrett’s Esophagus, which has worsened due to his penchant for drinking alcohol. — Rosalie Coz | UNTV News & Rescue
