MANILA, Philippines — The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board has approved the negotiation report on the construction of the Bulacan International Airport.
The concession agreement (CA) is between the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the San Miguel Holdings Corporation (SMHC).
The Bulacan International Airport Project report includes details on its construction, operation and maintenance of the airport.
The airport will be instituted in the 2,500-hectare lot in Bulakan, Bulacan, a project worth P735 million.
NEDA said that under the agreement the government has not given any guarantee or subsidy.
After NEDA’s approval, DOTr will finalize the deal before the Office of the Solicitor General and Department of Finance’s final review before its release to other interested bidders for the Swiss challenge. — UNTV News & Rescue
