CAVITE, Philippines — Police arrested 11 suspects in the act of stealing steel train rails of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) Carmona Spur Line in Cavite on Thursday (January 10).
Based on the report of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the suspects disguised themselves as employees of the PNR Engineering Department.
They were caught in the act of dismantling the train rails after their deception was discovered.
Authorities are now in custody of the suspects while they investigate for possible accomplices in the incident. – Marje Pelayo (with reports from Joan Nano)
