MANILA, Philippines – Passengers of the Light Rail Transit line 1 (LRT-1) are now allowed to bring bottled water and other liquids onto train stations and coaches after the management lifted the ban on Tuesday.
The LRT-1 announced on its Twitter account that the ban on liquids will be removed beginning April 2.
LRT-1 along with other train systems in Metro Manila, implemented the ban on liquid items starting Jan. 31, 2019 as a safety measure following bombing incidents in Mindanao.
