
MANILA, Philippines — Tropical storm ‘Falcon’ accompanied by the strength of the southwest monsoon has so far left P4.15-M worth of damage to the country’s agriculture.
This is based on the initial reports received by the Department of Agriculture (DA) from local offices in the strom-affected areas.
The amount translates to more than six hectares of farmland and 433 affected farmers specifically in San Enrique, Negros Occidental.
