MANILA, Philippimes — Iniulat ng Malacañang na tapos nang i-review ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III ang final draft ng Bangsamoro Basic Law.
Ayon sa pahayag ng Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) na binasa ni Presidential Communication Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr., halos dalawang linggo na ang nakalilipas nang makumpleto ang review ng pangulo.
Dagdag ng OPAPP, ilang pag-uusap na lamang ang isinasagawa ng grupo ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) at Office of the President.
“Presidential review of the draft Bangsamoro Basic Law was completed almost two weeks ago. On the basis of the president’s comments, there were further discussion and exchange of notes between MILF and the office of the president, the results of which were also submitted to the president,” ani Sec. Coloma.
Dagdag pa ni OPAPP Secretary Teresita Ging Deles, halos isandaang poryento na ang napagkasunduan sa kabuuan ng draft ng Bangsamoro Basic Law.
Inaasahang maisusumite na sa mababang kapulungan ng kongreso ang naturang panukalang batas sa susunod na linggo.
“The draft Bangsamoro Basic Law is now undergoing final stages of refinement. By the estimate of MILF panel and BTC Chair Mohagher Iqbal, the draft bill is now 99.99% done. It is expected to be submitted to congress before the president leaves for Europe,” saad ni Sec. Coloma. (Nel Maribojoc, UNTV News)
