MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced that the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or the number coding scheme will remain suspended until further notice.

The MMDA urges the public, especially the motorists, to continue observing government guidelines under the Alert Level 3 quarantine classification implemented in the National Capital Region.

As decided by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID), Metro Manila and other areas are placed under Alert Level 3 quarantine classification effective November 1 to 14.

The MMDA also reminds the public to always observe health protocols implemented in every local government unit or business establishment to protect and save oneself, family, and community against coronavirus disease 2019. —/mbmf
