MANILA, Philippines — Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has maintained his lead in the 2022 presidential race, according to the latest survey of Pulse Asia released on Wednesday.
In the survey, 56 percent of the respondents said they would vote for Marcos Jr. if the elections were held during the survey period.
Marcos Jr.’s rating slightly dipped from the 60 percent he got in the February survey.
The pollster noted “few significant changes” in voting figures that occurred between February and March 2022.
Robredo’s ratings, on the other hand, went up to 24 percent from the previous 15 percent.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno ranked third with 8 percent, followed by Senator Manny Pacquaio with 6 percent, and Senator Panfilo Lacson with 2 percent.
The latest Pulse Asia survey was conducted from March 17 to 21, 2022 using face-to-face interviews with 2,400 representative adults aged 18 years old and above.
