MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang insisted that they are not hiding any information in the alleged involvement of President Aquino in the Mamasapano operation last January 25.

Malacañang emphasized this as suggestions and questions are rising on the alleged involvement of the President on the operation in the investigation of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

“Everything that the President needed to declare regarding the incident in Mamasapano were already stated in his speech,” Communications Sec. Herminio ‘Sonny’ Coloma Jr. said.

Secretary Coloma also explained the primary purpose of the President in going to Zamboanga City last January 25.

“The primary purpose of the President in going to Zamboanga City last January 25 is to check its condition after the January 23 Guiwan bus terminal bombing,” Coloma added.

Malacañang will not prevent the members of the cabinet to attend as resource persons in the Congress hearings. The secretary asserted, they have no intention to hide any important information about this issue. (Nel Maribojoc / UNTV News)
