QUEZON CITY, Philippines — There’s no fake rice in the country.
The National Food Authority (NFA) assures consumers after the tests conducted by different agencies on the alledged ‘fake rice’ in Davao City came out recently.
NFA said, the 25 grams of the alleged ‘fake rice’ was just contaminated by dibutyl phthalate or DBP, a chemical compound used in making flexible plastic.
