Pasay City, Philippines — Kasangbahays have flocked to the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City today to avail of various social services, as part of UNTV’s 11th anniversary celebration.
Mr. Public Service Kuya Daniel Razon led the opening of the program along with Progressive Broadcasting president and owner UNTV owner Mr. Atom Henares.
NCRPO Chief Police Supt. Joel Pagdilao and Armed Forces of the Philippines spokesperson Col. Restituto Padilla also graced the occasion.
More than a thousand kasangbahays availed of services from different government agencies that are partners of UNTV in giving public service.
These include the application for NBI clearance, voters’ registration, and PhilHealth and SSS membership.
Kasangbahays also flocked to the Philippine Statistics Authority booth for their birth, marriage and death certificates of loved ones, and the PhilPost booth for their postal ID’s.
They also benefitted from the free legal consultation of the Law Center Ni Kuya, Department Of Justice, Public Attorney’s Office and the Supreme Court.
The OWWA and PhilHealth said they are very thankful for being a part of UNTV’s 11th anniversary.
“Napaka-successful po ng ating partnership. Kung makikita po ninyo yung dami ng tao na nagpapa-member po sa PhilHealth ay halos punong-puno po yung mga upuan. It’s an honor po na nandito kami para makapagsilbi po sa ating mga kababayan,” said PhilHealth social insurance officer II Edwin Marasigan.
(Our partnership is a success. There were a lot of people who applied for the PhilHealth membership. It is an honor for us to be here and serve our compatriots.)
OWWA officer III Shiela Aguilar similarly agreed, “We’re very happy na na-invite kami ng UNTV for this event, sa amin kasi beneficial yung mga ganitong event because nase-serve namin ang mga OFWs, nagiging avenue ito para ma-enlighten sila.”
(We are very happy that UNTV invited us to this event. This event is beneficial for us. Aside from serving our ofws, this is also an avenue for us to enlighten them.
This is a good avenue for us to share our programs and services.)
Our kasangbahays were generally grateful for the fast and beneficial social services rendered to them by UNTV, in partnership with government agencies.
As of 3 pm, a total of 1,516 kasangbahays have benefitted from the bigger and broader public services of UNTV, under the leadership of Mr. Public Service Kuya Daniel Razon that aims to help our fellowmen. (UNTV News)
