MANILA, Philippines — VINDICATED. This was the unanimous statement of high ranking officials of the PNP special action force in reference to the nationwide address of president Benigno Aquino III this yesterday in which he clarified issues surrounding the real killer of Zulkifli Bin Hir Alyas Marwan.
According to former chairman of The Board of Inquiry, P/Dir. Benjamin Magalong, the Chief Executive’s statement on the issue proved that PNP SAF was telling the truth right from the start.
On his part, PNP Chief P/Dir. Gen Ricardo Marquez said, the PNP remains proud of its SAF commandos after Pres. Aquino clarified issues surfacing about the so-called alternative version of the killing of the Malaysian terrorist.
Even the head of the Special Action Force was pleased by the President’s statement.
Meanwhile, former SAF Chief P/Dir. Getulio Napeñas is not surprised by Pres. Aquino’s declaration because he always believed that the truth will come out.
“I’m not surprised and I expected that eventually the truth will come out. So, I always say in my interviews that I am very sure and we have credible pieces of evidence and credible witnesses.”
And since it was proven that indeed the SAF troopers are the ones who killed Marwan, Napeñas calls on the President to trust the PNP and appeals for the scrapping of the administrative and criminal cases filed against him and seven other SAF commandos. (UNTV News)
