DAVAO CITY, Philippines — The Partido Demokratikong Pilipino- Lakas Ng Bayan or PDP-LABAN is not losing hope in convincing Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte to run for president of the Philippines in 2016.
PDP-LABAN president Koko Pimentel says they will do everything to make Duterte change his decision, because no one else can fill his place as standard bearer of the party
Duterte has stated many times he is not running for president and his latest statement was yesterday.
Pimentel says, only if they fail to convince Duterte will they start supporting another candidate.
Pimentel adds that the duty of the task group is to deliver the public’s clamor that Duterte should run for president in the 2016 elections. (UNTV News)
