Free legal assistance for the victims of tanim bala scheme.
QUEZON CITY, Philippines — Sarangani Representative and People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao offered help for the victims of “tanim bala” or planted bullet in luggage.
He cited the case of OFW Gloria Ortinez who was prevented from leaving the country after airport security personnel allegedly discovered a bullet in one of her travelling bags.
Pacquiao stressed that this an unjust treatment of overseas Filipino workers who are hailed as the country’s new heroes.
“This kind of modus ruins not only our own country but also the dignity and honor of our OFWs,” says Pacquiao.
