AFP Cavaliers maintain clean record after 1st round eliminations in UNTV Cup Season 4

PASIG CITY, Philippines — The AFP Cavaliers is still on the top spot of the team standings in the 1st round eliminations of the UNTV Cup Season 4, maintaining an unblemished record of 5-0 win–loss record.

The cavaliers made a big 13-point victory over the Ombudsman Graft Busters during their face off in game 1 at the Ynares Sports Arena aired last Sunday, November 1.

The loss brings the Ombudsman Graft Busters’ record to 0-4. Win-loss.

Point guard Boyet Bautista steered the Cavaliers with 34 points and 6 steals.

While forward winston sergio contributed 26 points to the team’s total score.

Meanwhile, Bernzon Franco garnered 43 points and 7 boards for the Graft Busters, although this was not enough to save them from being eliminated in the Group B.

Meanwhile, the Malacañan Patriots won against the DOJ Justice Boosters 72-59.

While the NHA Builders bagged another win versus the GSIS Furies 89-75.

The MMDA Black Wolves is bound to face the Ombudsman Graft Busters in another hardcourt battle at the Ynares Sports Arena on November 8 at 2 PM.

This will be followed by a match between the DOJ Justice Boosters and GSIS Furies at 3:30.
