MANILA, Philippines — The Malacañang assures the public especially the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) that the Department of Transportation and Communication is investigating the incidents of “tanim bala” at NAIA terminals.
According to Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda, the government understands the sentiments of OFWs regarding this matter.
Meanwhile, Malacañang downplays issues that admin political rivals are allegedly behind the ‘tanim bala’ scheme.
“Let’s set aside any political color and we will look into the data as objectively as we can. We just want to make sure that we present the entire picture properly,” says Sec. Lacierda. (NEL MARIBOJOC / UNTV News)
