Some members of the cabinet of President Benigno Aquino III are starting to pack up their things now that the end of the Aquino administration draws near.
According to Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma Jr., Pres. Aquino has also begun collecting his personal belongings.
“I, myself, am beginning to pack my things. It is but natural because we obviously know when the turnover would be. It is natural to prepare for it,” narrates Coloma.
Despite this, the Malacañang has denied that the palace personnel are already in vacation mode especially Pres. Aquino.
After the elections, only today did the president set two official schedules.
Malacañang added that the president cannot slack off because there are many Filipinos working and residing abroad who depend on continuous service from the government.
“The president continuously does his duty. There are many more state papers or policy matter on his table. He uses his time to complete his duty to the Filipino people,” Coloma explains.
