Volunteers gathered early on the grounds of Emilio Bernabe High School in Bagac, Bataan to begin cleaning and clearing the premises of possible obstructions, together with parents and some Members of Church of God International (MCGI) and UNTV.

“Bro Eli, we are happy and thankful for your initiative to help our school without asking anything in return,” said principal Myrna Castillo.

In Laur, Nueva Ecija, volunteers distributed anti-smoking campaign tarpaulin, wall clock and trash bins for each classroom in San Felipe Elementary School.

The UNTV News and Rescue Team was also in the area to provide free medical services such as first aid and blood pressure check-up.

“We are thankful because this is the first time that we had visitors like you,” said Elizabeth Fernandez, Officer in Charge, San Felipe Elementary School.

The group also helped in repainting as well as in repairing of the library facilities in Tabuk City National High School in Kalinga and in the clean-up drive in classrooms of Bunton Elementary School in Cagayan.

In Bacolod City SPED Center, all UNTV and MCGI volunteers joined in gardening and landscaping activities.

Because of this, teachers are hoping that the group would also be joining the Brigada Eskwela in the future to help prepare the classrooms for the opening of classes.

Meanwhile in Bagulin, La Uninon, police personnel were the ones to cleaned the classrooms and toilets in Cardiz Elementary School.

It was the first time that the PNP joined the Brigada Eskwela in La Union.

They have chosen the schools in far-flung areas for our police troopers to help in preparation for the opening of classes.

One of the school teachers is requesting for additional classrooms to accommodate over 200 new students.

We lack classrooms and buildings. When the teacher from one room speaks, the one on the next room need to stop, and vice versa. Cadiz School Head teacher Leopoldo Bacol said.
