CANLUBANG, Laguna – Newly installed CALABARZON Regional Director Chief Supt. Valfrie Tabian held a surprise drug testing among officials of the CALABARZON police.
Before the first command conference this morning at Camp Vicente Lim in Canlubang, Laguna, all police officials underwent urine drug testing.
To make sure that everyone is tested, Tabian ordered the door to be closed and all officials were ordered to queue at the comfort room.
According to P/CSupt Tabian, it is very important to clean up the ranks of PNP first to make them more effective in solving problems of crime and illegal drugs in the country.
The CALABARZON police chief is hoping that none of his men will be tested positive of illegal substance because he would not give second chances to members who will be proven to have been using illegal drugs.
The result of the surprise drug testing will be released tomorrow.
