PARAÑAQUE, Philippines — Three alleged shabu dealer had been placed under police custody at Camp Vicente Lim after they were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Brgy. Baclaran, Parañaque City yesterday.
The suspects were identified as Mustapha Madayao, Binnor Macabato and Noroden Amatonding, all residents of Quiapo, Manila.
Over three kilograms of suspected shabu were seized from the suspects.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) also raided the house of a Chinese national in San Pablo, Laguna who was the alleged supplier of illegal drugs to the three dealers.
The Chinese national escaped in the follow-up operation but a blue book was found allegedly containing his transactions including one with an active police.
“We noticed a name who seems to be a police from PRO4A or NCR. He could be charged of administrative and criminal charges,” PRO4A Regional Director Valfrie Tabian said.
Tabian also reported that operatives also raided the alleged safehouse of the suspects in Bacoor, Cavite where they seized about a kilogran of suspected shabu.
Overall, over four kilograms of shabu were confiscated by authorities with an estimated amount of over P15 million.
“Our message is for them to stop. Otherwise, they will face our police,” Tabian said. “We will be harsh especially against police who are involved in this. We have no mercy for policemen.”
The PNP assures an intensified operation against illegal drugs as mandated by the incoming administration.
